We have built many custom decks, stairs, sun shades and patio covers throughout San Diego and North County. We live in the best part of the nation, so why not spend more time outside by expanding your living space?
Before beginning a deck, patio cover or home improvement project of any scale, there are important questions to ask, such as: will you need drawings or city permits? These are required any time you add anything structural or move plumbing or electrical wiring, which are involved in many outdoor projects. It is a good idea to find the original structure drawings; they will save you money on a new project. It is your responsibility to ensure that the contractor you hire has a city license as well as a current, valid state contractor's license and the proper insurance. Please visit our FAQ page for additional information on how to find a contractor you can trust.
We designed our website to assist you, the consumer, in understanding how to find a reputable and experienced general contractor. We know that your home is a valuable asset, and any deck or patio cover project represents not only an upgrade to your living environment, but a financial investment you would like to see a return on. We strongly urge our clients not to always select their contractor based on the cheapest bid. Often you get what you pay for, and cheap work won't last in the long run. Cheap prices often include cheap labor and cheap materials. Be sure that any bids you receive are fully detailed and include all of the work you plan to do so that you aren't surprised with high bills for "extra" items as your project progresses. It's of paramount importance that you select a builder for your project that you have good, open communication with and who you feel comfortable entrusting your home to.
has never received a negative customer review from a deck or patio cover project of any kind. We believe we never will, because we are wholly committed to putting you, our clients, first.
We look forward to working with you.

Garage Remodel with Rooftop Deck in San Diego
"Jerry was referred to us by a friend and we hired him to build a rooftop deck above our garage. He did such a great job that we re-hired him to remodel our garage into a master suite, and then again to build an outdoor fireplace, and then again to remodel our kitchen. We always felt that he had what was best for us and our budget in mind."
Remodels & Additions
There are a lot of things to consider when remodeling your home. Its a process with many unknowns that can seem very intimidating at times. Having been involved in builds from the ground up on everything from custom homes to shopping centers, I have the experience to coordinate any project. It takes a deep understanding of construction and solid planning to make sure all the pieces of the puzzle come together properly, and at the right time. It is this attention to detail that ensures all jobs run smoothly and are completed on time. It is what eleiminates much of the stress of remodeling for my clients.
